I found this press release in my e-mail inbox and thought it was worthy of some coverage. Not so much the fact that XJTAG is participating, but that such a “road show” exists at all. I wonder if mobile trade shows like this will become popular??….Dan
XJTAG (http://www.xjtag.com), a supplier of boundary scan development tools, has signed up for Dream Marketing’s 26-day, three-country, 20-site Road Show as a means of directly targeting European automotive electronics and design/development engineers working for major suppliers in the industry. Simon Payne, XJTAG’s CEO, said, “We see the automotive market as a major growth area for the company particularly as electronics are now such an integral part of automotive systems and account for as much as one fifth of the cost of a new vehicle.”
Dream Marketing’s purpose-built mobile exhibition vehicle will visit 20 automotive companies across the UK, Germany and France during March 2006 - with proposed stops at Bentley, Jaguar, Nissan, Ford, TRW in the UK; Ford, Visteon, JCI, Delphi, Adam Opel, Hyundai, Faurecia, Daimler Chrysler, Audi, Porsche, TRW in Germany; and Delphi, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Renault, Valeo and Johnson Controls in France.
