www.sensorsportal.com now sports a user forum

The International Frequency Sensor Association (IFSA) runs a very nice website at www.sensorsportal.com. They recently added a bulletin board to allow users to discuss topics of interest. According to Sergey Y. Yurish, Editor-in-Chief,

Topics of discussion on the forum are not limited. It is intended to meet the individual needs of all sensors web portal users. You are welcome to post questions, requests and other sensors, transducers, MEMS, data acquisition and sensor instrumentation information. Registration for posting and replying is not necessary. We hope the forum will be useful for you and help you to solve different technical problems.

The site also has a number of other useful content including:

• information on the IEEE 1451 Smart Transducer Interface standard;
• a number of online tools, such as calculators, calibrators, and conversion tables; and
• the “Sensors Wish List,” where you can post information on sensors that you’re looking for.
