Standards Testing Laboratories (STL) announced its testing procedures are in accordance with the standard recently issued by SAE International and supported by Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) Wheel Industry Council (WIC).
The standard, SAE J2530, Aftermarket Wheels Performance Requirements and Testing Procedures, was published in March 2004 and specifies test procedures for aftermarket wheels, including performance and sampling requirements and testing procedures, along with marking requirements for aftermarket wheels used on cars, light trucks and multi-purpose vehicles.
