SAE Sound Level Committee Seeks Members

The Sound Level Technical Committee handles the development of standards related to noise control. It’s seeking members to participate in the standards development process. The standards include the test procedures for sound level measurement (SAE J88 and SAE J919), noise exposure (SAE J1166) and the effectiveness of audible warning systems (SAE J994, SAE J1105, and SAE J1446, now ISO 9533).
The committee typically meets twice a year. To participate, or for more information, contact Committee Chair Kerry Cone, conekerry@johndeere.com, or SAE standards specialist Cindy Reese, cindyreese@sae.org.
