Equipped with a 24-bit, four-channel, USB-powered dynamic acquisition module, the SO Analyzer is designed for portable noise and vibration applications. It provides highly accurate measurements from audio frequency IEPE (ICP) sensors. Its USB 2.0 port not only connects it to a PC or a laptop, but also powers the unit. The analyzer also features 25 kHz bandwidth, 24-bit resolution, and 102 dB dynamic range, making it well-suited for making and analyzing noise and vibration.
The software included with the analyzer allows you to do real-time data acquisition, import data from more than 20 different standard N&V data formats, analyse the results, and create reports. The application uses a “wizard” to help users set up measurement parameters, including user-selectable block sizes, sample rates, filtering, re-sampling, and a wide range of time and frequency domain computed functions and averaging modes. Additional options are available for hammer impact capture linked to a geometry for ODS and modal analysis, rotating machinery analysis with tacho, real-time octave analysis, acoustic intensity analysis as well as throughput to disc recording.
