National Technical Systems, Inc. (NTS), a provider of quality and conformance testing and managed services, amid several recent erroneous news bites, made clear today that it is NOT closing any facility nor has NTS lost any contract. Lloyd Blonder, CFO of National Technical Systems, explained today that the company plans to move its DSL-testing capability in Culver City, CA into facilities in Santa Rosa, CA. Blonder states, “This action will help improve through-put and reduce costs.” Other testing operations will remain at NTS’ Culver City location; only the DSL operations are affected. No NTS employees are affected.
This realignment is a result of National Technical Systems and a British-based Laboratory Accreditation Services agreement reached an end for competitive reasons; therefore its DSL-testing relationship with NTS-Phase Seven concluded.
