New Company Provides Laser Measurement and Vision Systems

Metrology Resource was recently formed to provide vision system solutions and turnkey installation and support for a wide range of sensors, including surface scanners and single point sensors. Heading the Detroit office is David Allen, a veteran of over 25 years experience in laser measuring devices and instruments and controls with companies such as Keyence Corporation of America and LMI Technologies (USA), Inc.

Among products being offered by Metrology Resource are long-range lasers with measuring distances ranging from nano meters to 200 meters. Besides its own brand, Metrology Resource also represents the Breitmeier Messtechnik (Germany)line of optical inspection equipment.

Metrology Resource will also offer:

• Acuity Research triangulation lasers and time of flight lasers;
• SensorData torque transducers and load cells;
• Senstronics pressure transducers; and
• SIOS laser vibrometers and laser interferometers.
