The DI-718B Series is a family of low-cost data acquisition instruments with integrated, isolated amplifiers that record to Secure Digital (SD) memory cards. The 14-bit, eight-channel instruments either stream data to a PC or collect data as a stand-alone data logger. They are available with either USB or Ethernet interface.
The instruments have a cost-per-channel as low as $163 for eight isolated inputs and offer advanced features usually reserved for more expensive instruments. These include:
Power for the instrument may be any 9-36 VDC source. An AC adapter is provided that supports U.S. and international power standards. The instruments are supported by a range of software, including standalone programs and and an ActiveX Control library that permits users to write applications in VisualBASIC and C++.
All models in the DI-718B Series are available from stock beginning July 1, 2005. Prices range from $595 for an instrument with a USB interface to $895 for an instrument with an Ethernet interface.
