Link Engineering announced recently that their Brake Testing Laboratory is open for business in Korea. This laboratory is a joint venture with SE Systems, a sales representative for Link in Korea for over 20 years. This laboratory will provide brake testing services to customers throughout Asia. It is located in the Seoul metropolitan area providing easy access for customers in the region. The initial test equipment installed includes a Model 3000 dynamometer, a Chase Machine, and Model 3801vehicle systems. This lab will have a full set of capabilities for brake and friction material characterization and performance testing. In addition, there will be the ability to perform vehicle testing on the road and test tracks. Link also announce that they have concluded an agreement with Material Sciences Corporation Europe to provide testing services on the brake NVH dynamometers recently sold to MSC Europe and to be housed in a facility near Eisenach, Germany. Beginning in early 2007, Link will provide a wide range of brake testing services through this facility in cooperation with MSC Europe. This agreement makes time available on these state-of-the-art brake NVH dynamometers with full environmental control for Link to offer testing services to customers throughout Europe.
