First PDA-based Vibration Analyzer Introduced Modular Power System Offers Up to 1200W in 1U Package

LabVIEW Simulation Module Improved

December 13th, 2005

LabVIEW Simulation Module 2.0 includes new optimization, model trimming and linearization functionality that allows design engineers to more easily analyze complex, nonlinear control systems. It also helps reduce development time with new performance improvements.

For example, engineers now can linearize complex, nonlinear systems modeled in block-diagram form and use LabVIEW graphical for the entire development process for both simple and complex systems.

Once they have developed a model, engineers can download them into a real-time target using the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. For applications such as rapid control prototyping or embedded implementation, engineers can use the LabVIEW Simulation Module with the NI CompactRIO embedded system, a small and durable platform based on FPGA technology. For hardware-in-the-loop testing applications that require high-speed computation capability, they can use NI real-time PXI targets.
