Paul Hansen, publisher of The Hansen Report on Automotive Electronics, is headlining a three-day user conference on breakthrough developments and best-industry practices in the embedded controls industry.
Presented by dSPACE, a producer of engineering tools for developing and testing embedded Electronic Control Units (ECUs), “Overcoming ECU Development Challenges” will take place at the St. John’s Conference Center in Plymouth, Mich., Tuesday, May 2, through Thursday, May 4.
Hansen will moderate “Off the Record,” a panel discussion, on May 2. The panel will highlight accomplishments and challenges in automotive controls software. Members of the “Off the Record” panel include: James Kolhoff, director of Software Engineering, General Motors Powertrain; Mark Thomas, director of Electronics Systems, Detroit Diesel; Eric Bansbach, general manager of Electronics, Magna; and Dr. Herbert Hanselmann, president and CEO, dSPACE GmbH.
The 2006 User Conference also features live demonstrations, workshops and nearly a dozen partner exhibits. Registration and agenda information are available on the dSpace website.
