  • UK EMC Test Club
    While attending a recent PCB Designers Symposium we came across this novel idea in the UK for a collaborative EMC test club. Although the company currently is not capable of performing Automotive tests, it’s an interesting idea that appealed to our delegate./
  • Standards
    3 New CISPR Standards/Amendment released:
    • CISPR 15 Amd. 1 Ed. 7.0 (2006-10)Amendment 1 - Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment.
    • CISPR 16-4-3 Amd. 1 Ed. 2.0 (2006-10) Amendment 1 - Specification for radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus and methods - Part 4-3: Uncertainties, statistics and limit modelling - Statistical considerations in the determination of EMC compliance of mass-produced products.
    • CISPR 16-4-5 Ed. 1.0 (2006-10) Specification for radio disturbance and immunity for measuring apparatus and methods - Part 4-5: Uncertainties, statistics and limit modelling - Conditions for the use of alternative test
      methods.
