Davis Inotek Acquires Northwest Calibration Systems

Davis Inotek Calibration Laboratory has acquired Northwest Calibration Systems (NCS), expanding their capacity and coverage. According to the company, the acquisition will make it easier for their customers to obtain calibration certifications, reduce turn-around time, and provide better onsite calibration services.

Northwest Calibration Systems has facilities in Seattle and Portland (Vancouver) and provides services in linear/dimensional, mass, torque and surface plate measurements. They employ 35 calibration technicians and have 15,000+ sq. ft. of lab space.

Davis Inotek Calibration Laboratory is a division of Davis Inotek Instruments, LLC. Founded in 1912, the Baltimore-based company provides instrument calibration and related services from 15 calibration laboratories. Their quality certifications include ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001:2000, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and 10CFR50 Appx B.
