Agilent, Elgar Ship First LXI-Certified Products

March 13th, 2006

The LXI Consortium recently announced that Agilent Technologies and Elgar Electronics are the first companies to ship LXI-certified products. LXI (LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation) is a next-generation, LAN-based modular platform for automated test systems. LXI certification indicates approval by the LXI Board to officially license the LXI logo for display on compliant products.

Agilent is now shipping a variety of modular and compact instruments within five product families: the Agilent N6700 Series modular power system; the Agilent N5700 Series system DC power supplies; the Agilent 34410A and 34411A digital multimeters; and the Agilent 34980A multifunction switch/measure unit.

Elgar achieved certification for two programmable DC power supply families: the DCS series and the DLM 600 series. These product families include 41 models ranging from 600 to 3000W maximum power, and programmability of 0–5V up to 0–600V.
