The University of Michigan and General Motors Corp. plan to establish an advanced automotive battery development and testing lab. The lab, called the Advanced Battery Coalition for Drivetrains, will be located on UM’s Ann Arbor campus and is supported by a five year, $5 million grant from GM, the university said today.
