Full Scale Tunnel Future Uncertain

The Virginian-Pilot ran the story “Future Uncertain for NASA’s Historic Wind Tunnel” in its July 24, 2006 issue. Built in 1931, it has been used to test many generations of aircraft and automobiles. It’s even been designated as a National Historical Landmark. Despite this status, though, it looks like its days are numbered.
